Fresh tactics and a clean design crush the control

When you work for a client that’s been around since 1868, it’s easy for campaigns to feel dated. However, the story of the impact of the California-Hawaii Elks Major Project (CHEMPI) was too good to let it get lost in the mailbox.

Last year, CHEMPI provided disabled children in need with 11,654 therapy and pathology visits and 43,830 preschool vision screenings at NO COST to the families. This incredible story of service had somehow grown stale despite the enormous impact CHEMPI was making in California and Hawaii.

The V360 team went to work on a campaign that would freshen up the message and encourage donors to share the story.

To further highlight the impact donors have on CHEMPI’s children and families they serve, V360 integrated these images into a label front-end premium to support the messaging. Now, donors were not only visually connected, they could share their affection for the program with others through the use of the labels that highlighted Walk, Talk, See and Play.

The campaign results have been powerful.

With a 7.9% response and 83 cents of every dollar being returned as net profit, the big winners are the children and families who depend on CHEMPI when all other hope has been lost.
